If you have kiddos, are around kiddos, or have ever seen a small child with snot running down their lips, smeared on their cheeks and seemingly impossibly on their forehead...you understand where I'm at right now.
Praise GOD, I don't get the October-February colds the kids do, however, at some point during their perma-winter-cold, I know I will get one. I have it now. Actually, this is the same week I had it last year. I must admit this isn't one of those confine you to bed beasts that come around once in awhile, this is just your average cold. Lots of tissues, a little coughing. Today, I think was the climax of my cold. I was out on the town doing some shopping/getting away from the children for a bit. By the time I got home I was wasted. My head was...and still is throbbing. I am sitting here with the lights off while I type just to relax. I am certain I was not nice to people I met today. Hopefully they noticed the shreds of tissue falling off my Rudolph-red nose and understood, but I am praying someone else was able to undo any Christmas gloom I spread. If I don't see you in the next week or so--MERRY CHRISTMAS! Wash your hands often to avoid the germs.
